Health & Social Care

Leading Provider of Housing, Care and Support Services to Older People

This organisation provides specialist help to older people who face particular challenges with hearing, sight loss, mobility and communication. These premises are opening in December 2007 and Catering Partnership are working closely with this organisation as a trusted adviser to provide an effective solution to their needs.

Our brief has been to provide an attractive and varied food offer to 128 residents from this brand new facility where we will also be meeting the needs of day visitors on workshop training sessions and community groups.

National charity for the blind and partially sighted

This is a charity that supports and trains blind and partially sighted people in gaining independence. Catering Partnership gained the catering contract at this renowned national charity in February 2005 due to our reputation for providing a caring, personal service

Since then, the partnership between us has strengthened as a result of our commitment and genuine desire to provide the highest level of support possible

We serve the residents of this specialist training and rehabilitation centre with a breakfast, lunch and dinner service, ensuring we provide balanced, healthy meals that are nutritious and appetising

With the consistent support of our Operations Team and our effective management systems, we have been able to maintain an excellent service whilst keeping to the budget agreed.

Supporting homeless people

This charity enables homeless people to find and sustain stable housing. Catering Partnership were successful in gaining the contract with this charity in April 2006, with a pledge to provide healthy, balanced meals three times a day and keep within the agreed budget.

In the first year alone, Catering Partnership has significantly reduced the costs from the previous caterer, due to the efficiency of our management systems whilst maintaining our commitment to quality food and service.

A daily breakfast, lunch and dinner service is provided to the 65 residents with an additional 25 people each day receiving a hot nutritional lunch.

"Catering Partnership stepped in to a difficult situation in our organisation and managed to turn it around - reducing the budget significantly, improving standards across the board, gaining the trust of staff and the homeless people we work with. All problems were met head on and with a sense of humour. There has been a true sense of partnership. Staff at all levels of the organisation are accessible and positive. Our workplace is unusual and they certainly rose to the challenge."
